Permanent Exterior Lighting Installation in Green Island

We install app-controlled permanent lighting along your roofline, so you can switch on warm white for everyday nights or colors for the holidays without climbing a ladder again. You get a firm install date, an arrival window you can plan around and a call from us if anything shifts.

Roofline lights you barely notice by day

We mount a slim LED channel up under the roof edge, usually on the fascia or just below the gutter lip. Its color is chosen to match your trim, so in daylight it blends into the home exterior. After dark you run every light from an app on your phone: soft white over the porch and walkway, team colors on game day, a slow red and green fade in December, all on schedules you set once.

It's a good fit if you're tired of hanging string lights every fall, or you want year-round curb appeal and more light around your entry and driveway. We're licensed and insured, and we've been in business 5 years. Planning matters to us as much as the lights do. You'll know your install day before we hang up the phone, and if weather or a parts delay moves it, you hear it from us first.

Everything that comes with your install

Measuring and a layout you approve
We measure every stretch of roofline and mark the peaks, corners and gable returns. You see where the track, power supply and controller will sit before we drill a single hole.
Track colored to your trim, fasteners sealed
Corrosion-resistant screws attach the track to your fascia or trim, and we seal every one to keep water out. The channel color matches your trim so it fades from view by day.
Weather-ready LEDs and controller
These lights are made to live outside through long Capital Region winters and every freeze and thaw. A 10-year product warranty covers them.
App setup with hands-on help
We link the controller to your Wi-Fi, add a few starter scenes and set an on and off schedule. Then we stay with you and your phone until changing colors and timers feels easy.
A clean site when we leave
We haul away track scraps, boxes and drill dust. Your lawn and walkways end the day looking just as they did that morning.

When permanent lighting is worth a look

  • November ladder duty wears you out

Putting up and pulling down string lights costs you two weekends a year, usually in cold, icy weather. A permanent system stays in place and switches on from the couch.

  • Your roof edge shows clip damage

Season after season of plastic clips and staples bends gutter lips and pries at shingle edges. One mounted track puts a stop to it.

  • The front door goes dark early

Night falls early in winter. Warm white light along the roofline brightens the steps, driveway and entry with no extra fixtures.

  • You decorate for several holidays

Orange for October, red and green for December, a different look in July: a single system covers every one.

  • Cords snake across your lawn

The whole system runs off one neat power connection, so nothing trips anyone up or has to be unplugged before snow falls.

What goes into your lighting price

We measure and price each house separately, so your quote comes from your own roofline. The written estimate breaks the job into its parts. If we run into something that would change the plan, we stop and talk it over with you first.

How much roofline you light

Feet of track matter most. A front-only run comes in lower than a system that circles the whole house.

How high and how easy to reach

Second-story walls, steep roofs and narrow side yards mean more ladder setup and more hours than a single-story ranch.

Number of zones and where power is

Lighting the front, the garage and the back deck as separate zones takes added wiring. How far the controller sits from an outdoor outlet plays a part as well.

Shape your fascia is in

Track has to grip sound wood. When we spot soft or rotting fascia, we show you and take photos so it can be fixed before anything is mounted.

Time of year you schedule

Autumn fills up fast with holiday installs. Calling in spring or summer tends to open up more dates for you.

How your lighting job runs, from call to first glow

  1. 1

A phone call and a free quote

Tell us a little about your house and what you'd like the lights to do. We book a walkaround at a time that suits you and give you an arrival window, not a vague day.

  2. 2

    Measure and a written estimate

We measure the roofline, check the condition of the fascia and find the best spot for power. You get a written, line-item estimate and a realistic install date to go with it.

  3. 3

    Install day

We arrive inside the window we gave you and set ladders on pads to protect your lawn and landscaping. Most single-family homes are done in one day. If rain, ice or wind makes the roofline unsafe, we call as soon as we know and offer you the next open date.

  4. 4

    Lights on and handoff

We test every section, set your schedule and walk you through the app. You see the full roofline lit before we pack up.

Common permanent lighting questions

Is the track visible in daylight?

Barely. The slim channel is colored to match your trim and tucked under the edge of the roof. Most people on the street only notice it once the lights turn on.

What do snow and ice do to the lights?

We mount the track under the drip edge, and the LEDs are sealed for outdoor conditions, so snow on the roof leaves them alone. Thick ice may block the light for a few days, but it does no harm to a system that is mounted correctly.

Do the lights carry a warranty?

Yes, a 10-year product warranty. If part of the system goes out, call us and we will book a visit and explain what we find.

When do I find out my install date?

You get a date and a crew arrival window when we review your estimate together. If weather or a late parts delivery changes the plan, we phone you right away with the next open day instead of leaving you waiting.

Does someone have to be home on install day?

Not all day. We just need someone there near the end so we can link the controller to your Wi-Fi and show you how the app works.
