Permanent Light and Track Cleaning in Green Island

We clean the tracks, lenses and trim around your permanent lighting so every light reads bright and even after a season of pollen, dust and winter grime. You get a set arrival window, a realistic time estimate and a heads-up if anything shifts.

What a light and track cleaning covers

Permanent lighting lives outside all year. Pollen settles in the track in spring, spiders build in the channel over summer, and winter leaves a gray film of salt spray and soot along the roofline. None of it hurts the LEDs right away, but it dulls the color and makes some lights look dimmer than the ones next to them.

This visit is careful hand work on the lighting system and the narrow strip of fascia or soffit it mounts to. We focus on the parts that change how your lights look and work, so the app-controlled colors you picked show up the way you expect.

We have been in business 5 years, and we are licensed and insured. That matters when a crew is working on ladders along your roofline.

What we clean and check on every visit

Lens wipe-down by hand
Each lens is cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner that is safe for the plastic. Abrasive pads and strong solvents can haze a lens for good, so we never use them.
Track channel clear-out
We pull out leaves, nests, webs and grit from the aluminum channel. A clear track drains properly and keeps debris from sitting against the wiring.
Trim right around the track
We wipe the narrow band of fascia or soffit next to the track, where drips and streaks show most once the lights are on at night.
Connection and seal check
While we are up there, we look over connectors, end caps and the power supply housing for loose fits, cracked seals or water marks. Anything that needs attention gets photographed so you can see it for yourself.
Test run before we pack up
We run your lights through a few colors and a full white. You see every node lit evenly, and any dead node is pointed out and noted.

Signs your lights are due for a cleaning

  • Some lights look dimmer

Uneven brightness down a single run usually means film on the lenses, not failing LEDs. A cleaning often brings them right back.

  • Colors look washed out

Whites turn yellowish and blues look gray. A dirty lens scatters light instead of letting it through clean.

  • Debris you can see from the driveway

If leaves or webs are visible in the track in daylight, there is more you can't see packed behind them.

  • Dark streaks under the track

Water that runs over a dirty track leaves drip lines on the fascia, and the lights shine right on them after dark.

  • A holiday or gathering coming up

If you want the roofline at its best before guests arrive, book a few weeks ahead so the date fits comfortably.

What affects the price of a light cleaning

Every quote is based on your actual system, so we ask a few questions before giving a number. The price is agreed before we arrive. If we find something extra once we are up on the ladder, we show you and ask before doing any more work.

Length of the lighting runs

More feet of track means more lenses to clean and more channel to clear.

Roofline height and access

Two-story peaks, steep pitches and planting beds under the eaves take more ladder setup and more time.

Time since the last cleaning

A system cleaned last year goes quickly. Years of buildup or an old nest in the channel take longer to remove safely.

Repairs found along the way

Your cleaning quote covers cleaning. A cracked end cap or loose connector is priced separately, and only if you want it fixed.

How a cleaning visit runs

  1. 1

    Free quote by phone

Tell us roughly how many runs you have, how long they are and how high the roofline sits. We give you a free quote and an honest estimate of how long the work will take.

  2. 2

An arrival window you can plan around

We set a date and a window that suits your week. If weather or an earlier job pushes us back, we call you ahead of time and offer the next open slot, so you are never left waiting at the window.

  3. 3

    Cleaning day

Ladders go on protective pads, and we work run by run. It is quiet hand work, and nobody needs to come inside your home.

  4. 4

    Walk-through and light test

We turn everything on, show you photos of anything we found, and talk through any repair worth considering. Then we clean up and head out.

Questions about cleaning permanent lighting

Will cleaning scratch my lights?

No. We use soft cloths and mild cleaners made for plastic lenses, never pressure or harsh solvents. The lights we install carry a 10-year product warranty, and gentle cleaning helps them keep looking the way they did the day they went up.

How often should permanent lighting be cleaned?

Once a year is enough for most homes. If your roofline sits under big trees, twice a year works better: once in late spring after pollen, and once in fall after the leaves drop.

Can you clean lights another company installed?

Often, yes. Most track systems are built in a similar way. Tell us the brand or describe the track on the call, and we will let you know before you book.

Do I need to be home during the visit?

Not usually. We need access to the outside of the house and a way to power the lights for the final test, which we sort out with you when we set the appointment. We call you when we finish to go over what we saw.

What happens if the weather turns on my scheduled day?

We keep an eye on the forecast, and if rain, ice or high wind makes ladder work unsafe, we call you the day before when we can. You get the next open window rather than a vague promise.
